Oof, finally figured out the stores I’m applying to for jobs over the summer, just in case that internship at Sikorsky doesn’t work out…  Victorias Secret, Talbots, Ann Taylor, Dressbarn, Chicos, Target, TJMaxx, and Gap - pretty much every clothing retailer in the Oxford-Southbury region haha  

Hopefully at least one of them works out so I don’t end up stocking shelves for KMart or something… I’d definitely much rather work floor/cashier in a clothing store than anything.  Preferably Victorias Secret because I actually shop there :) employee discounts pleaseeee

Day 16- Plans/dreams/goals you have 

1) Goals for the year:
This year I plan to have a very successful semester, trust me…your mind will be blown with how well I will do compared to what my previous semesters were haha  I also plan to be happy, be myself, and not settle.  I used to just settle for “okay” or “situationally well” things, but that’s done and over with.  I’m not going to stop until I get where I want to be.  Enough is enough.

2) Dreams for the future:
After I graduate from UConn I want to find a nice apartment and have a job I am happy in - I do not want to sacrifice my happiness in the workplace just for a higher paying job.  After things get settled I would like to someday get married to a loving husband and have two beautiful children.  If it would be possible I would want to be home while the kids are little and then do part time work until they are old enough to care of themselves after school.  I was never a fan of the daycare system, I’d like to experience my children growing up just like my mom did for me and my younger brother :)

7. make use of my talents in painting, music, and ceramics
